CALGARY – The City of Calgary has expeirenced one of the South Sudanese colourful events. In attendance were the Justic Minister Johnason Denis, acting Police Superintendent, MLA, Len Weber, and Chan Chuo. Also on the side of the South Sudanese were deputy foreign affair representative, and as well head of the delegation, Mr. Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth, Former Minister of Education, Mr. Stephen Par Kuol, and SPLM representative to United Nation, Mr. Miyong Gattuor Kuon were in attendance.
The function was attended by many South Sudanese, some of whom came from across Canada to be able to meet with the delegation, and to as well listen from them. The Deputy Foreign Affairs minister heading the delegations, Mr. Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth expressed urgency in structuring the SPLM in Canada, rallying the support of the South Sudanese people in the Diaspora to support the course of the South Sudanese which had unfolded on December 15, 2013.

Salva Kiir is done, said Ezekiel Gakuoth. The support of the people of South Sudan supporting the movement to end the dictatorship is widely seen across the world particularly the United States, Canada, and Australia.

Salva Kiir cannot use us on our back yard, continued Gatkuoth. He must be brought down in any way possible. He also reminded South Sudanese at large to come together under Dr. Machar’s leadership and kick Salva Kiir Mayardit out of the power.

We are telling you the Canadian South Sudanese living in Canada that Salva Kiir has failed diplomatically even in the white house that we brought him to. His government is on the burse of collapse. Therefore, the true democracy that will address your needs is the one we are here for. Your chance is now if you wanted to experience freedom of speech, press and a prosperous South Sudan.
