Pagan Amum arrives in Juba in a SPLM reunification effort

JUBA – Former SPLM Secretary General, Pagan Amum Okiech arrived in Juba today to discuss with the leadership of Salva Kiir ways of putting the Arusha agreement of the SPLM into practice.
Pagan in a convoy composed of Kenyan dignitaries is likely to held talks with Salva Kiir today before a general meeting scheduled to take place this week at the SPLM house, where former detainees will hold direct talks with the leaders of the SPLM in Juba.
Pagan’s colleagues, former detainees led by Deng Alor Kuol returned to Juba with him after coming here last week. The group also included John Luk Jok, Chol Tong Mayai and Kosti Manibe.
