MAIWUT – The leadership of Major General Saddam Chayout Manyang yesterday, January 20, 2015 had a consultative meeting and concluded that Maiwut County will, from today, be offered as the seat of Provisional Government.

The resolution comes days after 21 States under Federal Democratic Republic of South Sudan were adopted in a consultative Conference that took place in December 2014, in Pagak, Maiwut County South Sudan.

Maiwut, according to the leadership, is safer and convenience and can generally serve as the seat for which the government affairs should be run. South Sudan is currently at war, but Maiwut, according to its strategic location, should once and for all be the seat of Pagak Government, Upper Nile Times has learned.
