South Sudan Independence Day a Day of Protest in Various Canadian Cities

CALGARY – The Community leaders of the South Sudanese Communities have contacted our correspondence about the pending protest taking place this Saturday as a way to make international awareness about the lack of peace implementation and the ongoing killing of the innocent civilians across South Sudan.

Khor Top, one of community leaders in the City of Calgary, appealed to South Sudanese people to come out in solidarity on Saturday July 9, 2016.  Various South Sudanese Youth leaders have also appealed to South Sudanese to come out at the same.  Gatluak Kayier, has reached out to many youth across Canada to do the same.

Similar moves is taking place in the City of Edmonton with the community leaders saying the will all come out to express their desertification about the lack of speedy implementation of the peace process in South Sudan.
