“We have evidences that JEM entered Doro of Maban as civilians. They were probably dressed up by the government in Juba to do it that way. Its condemnable because what they are doing is to cause havoc among civilians population especially to Funj and Brunt communities of Maban who are not armed. We completely regret the death so far, but this is not going to stop until their masters in Juba tell them to stop” a statement by the governnor of Sobat Gen Sadamm Chayout reads.
MABAN – The leadership of SPLMIO in Pagak has accused the Justice and Equality movement of dressing in civilian clothes and enter civilian facilities in Maban’s Doro refugee camp in order to cause havoc and disobedience.
The accusation by the SPLMIO came just 3 days after fighting erupted in Maban’s doro camp between Funj of Maban and people affiliated to Justice and Equality Movement, a rat tag group accused of fighting alongside President Salva Kiir in the South Sudan conflict.
So far the fighting in Doro camp around Maban has stopped but investigation is underway from the UN and other world food agencies about the cause of the fighting.
