One of the four suspects that killed Mayor Cecilia escapes from prison

JUBA – One leading suspects awaiting arraignments for the brutal killing of the former Yei Municipality Mayor, Cecilia Oba Tito had broke free from the detention centre according to the Police Commissioner of the Central Equatoria State Mr General Danima.
The accused murderer disappeared this morning in a circumstances that the prison wardens believed involved bribery solicited by some colleagues.
The yet to be named suspect was caught along with other three inmates and accused of killing former Mayor Oba and her manager in Jebel. The former mayor was believed to have been killed because of arguments over a plot of land she bought for business. The person in court disagreement with Cecilia denied having any responsibility for her death.
Police commissioner General Danima said that the suspect is being pursued by the police along with other suspects that will need arraignment to answer for the death of the former mayor.
Cecilia’s death has caused widespread anger in Juba and all other areas in Central Equatoria State. Local residents accused some government officials of having responsibility her death.
