Juba Calls off Head of States Submit

According to South Sudan Government Spokesperson, Michael Makue Lueth who appeared on the SSTV today, announced that the head of States’ submit that was going to be held in Juba on November 23, 2015, was called off until further notes.  Lueth, said the government has received message from the head of States that the schedule provided for was dictated by other important events that just came up.

Lueth, further reiterated that the public will be updated in due time required.  No one knows whether the call off of a submit should be blamed on the issues of insecurity and the consistent violation of the signed peace agreement by President Salva Kiir, insisting to proceed a head with the implementation of a bill that would allows for 28 States creation.

Additionally, Lueth reiterated the government’s commitment that the SPLM-IO Advance Team is still set to arrive on November 26, 2015.  Due to the current insecurity in Western Equatoria State, and other surrounding areas including Juba-Yie Road attacks, no detail was revealed whether there would be any change in scheduled arrival as of yet.  For more details, The Upper Nile Times will follow through with this process and tune you in!
