Keni Adwok, a South Sudan diplomat died in Belgium

Brussels – A South Sudan former diplomat previously working under the umbrella of the foreign affairs Ministry in Brussels died in the Belgian capital yesterday.

Keni Adwok, a daughter to the veteran South Sudanese politician and former Minister of Education Professor Peter Adwok Nyaba died suddenly yesterday morning due to a stroke. Ms Keni was not known to have any continued illness and her death surprised a lot of people particularly her own family.


Ms Keni (aged 38 when she died) was the oldest daughter in the Prof Peter Adwok Nyaba family. Her body is expected to flown back to South Sudan for burial in a traditional Chollo culture.
