PAGAK – The decision of Lt. General Thomas Cirillo to disassociate himself from the SPLM-IG and to become part of the struggle for the free South Sudan is much welcomed and this is what we as south Sudanese armed forces are expecting from any profession soldier serving the regime in juba because as army, we took an oath to be royal to the cause of our National Constitution and flag, and within the pretext, a mindful soldier should have revolted to save the constitution as it being violated now by lawless regime. Therefore, any army in the rank and structure of the SPLA – IG who does not protest against the regime through defection to the ranks of opposition force, cannot be called an army of the Nation (South Sudan) but militia (Tribal forces) – who never stand to defend the cause of national constitution and flag, but criminal activities of those in power positions.

The move of Lt. General Thomas Cirilo is act of patriot but wish to caution him to learn and follow the example of ADWELEK FORCE and REMNASA by forging alliance with SPLM-IO if his interests is to bring the suffering of our people to an end because this regime can only be defeated if all the armed opposition forces joined forces together under one command.
Our struggle should not be caused by ambition for leadership and fame, but national salvation and therefore the Equartorian Commanders in SPLM-IO under the leadership of Dr. Riek Machar will not support any move by Lt. General Thomas Cirilo to cause disunity amongst us as revolutionary forces on regional bases as he is attempting now. If Thomas want leadership, let him reason with SPLM-IO leadership in peaceful manner and he will be given because he will have our supports as
If Thomas want leadership, let him reason with SPLM-IO leadership in peaceful manner and he will be given because he will have our supports as Equartorian commanders on the bases of his seniority and experiences; but if he is using the current tactics of mobilization on regional as well tribal lines against SPLM-IO, then we have no any option but to consider him as Revolutionary Divisive Agent just like Dr. Lam Akol, and therefore, Equatoria as region will never accommodate his single forces that remain as ghost. Lt. General Thomas Cirillo should know that, he may lured the Equartorians in Diasporas, but will never lure us commanders in battle field and if it means for us as Equarorians to fight each other to maintain our national unity as south Sudanese revolutionaries, we will do it because our national interests is above our selfish interests both as individuals and as tribes.
We are not fools to be lured by the cheap politics of logistic to leave SPLM-IO to join him (NSF) because when we decided to revolted against the regime in Juba, we knew we don’t have logistic but we did so because we have grievances against the regime in Juba, we had committed ourselves to fight it whether we have logistic or not, and willingly not only resisted, but will defeat this regime.
Lt. General Thomas should know that, we remained Royal to the leadership of Dr. Riek Machar as Equatoria commanders with all our forces because we know for the very fact that, Dr. Riek Machar never even provided logistic to his tribesmen “the Nuer “ or “the Adwelek forces of Chollo”. The weapons our comrades from Upper Nile have, they revolted with it from the government and they added more during military operations by capturing what they have now, from the government. I can say that, the government that we are fighting now is the one armed our comrades in Upper Nile such as it has been arming us in Equatoria in every battle.
The Equartorians has strategic existences in SPLM-IO, we started from zero and were able to arm ourselves through resistances and we cannot allow ourselves to be confused by those with special interests. Therefore, Equatorians who are in Diasporas should continue to stand with us their armed forces defending the Equaroria in battle fields than to shift positions to someone not only having single soldier in Equatoria, but also whose fade remains unknown. As Equatorian commanders, we cannot destroy what we have worked hard to build at the last moment because of one individual with selfish interests.
